EcoCover
EcoCover 2010 Finalist

EcoCover, a top-five finisher in AC-NET’s 2010 competition, and the City of Anaheim’s TreePower program have teamed up to pilot the use of EcoCover’s organic mulch on free shade trees distributed through the TreePower program. To learn more about the pilot, go here.

Global Eco Soil Solutions
Global Eco Soils 2009 Finalist

Anaheim Public Utilities and the City of Anaheim recently installed Global Eco Soil Solution’s EarthMister irrigation system in a pilot project at Anaheim Substation.  Another EarthMister pilot will be conducted at Founder’s Park in Anaheim as part of a renovation project in late Spring 2011. Global Eco's sub-surface micro-jet system is designed to reduce water use by 50% to 75%, as well as eliminate waste from sprinkler run-off, water/moisture loss from soil evaporation, and minimize human contact with recycled water during irrigation.

Hadronex
Hadronex 2009 Competition Finalist

Five Hadronex SmartCover devices that provide real-time sewer monitoring to prevent spills, illegal dumping, and vandalism were installed throughout Anaheim in February 2010. To date, the units have operated as expected.

 

Hadronex was a 2009 Competition Finalist, finishing first.
