About AC·NET's
Clean Tech Competition
ViridiSTOR earned the $10,000 grand prize in the 2011 AC-NET Clean Tech Business Plan Competition. ViridiSTOR from Tustin, California won the top prize for their Green Box™ Solution that replaces paper-based materials at trade shows and conferences with electronic files including video, high-resolution color photos, presentations, or entire product catalogs.
Earning second place honors and the $5,000 prize in the 2011 AC-NET competition was Atlantis Technologies from Monarch Beach, California. Atlantis Technologies designs, builds, and installs water purification systems using Radial Deionization technology (RDITM) to efficiently and effectively remove dissolved salt from oil and gas wastewater, and other high salinity industrial waste water, to produce reusable water and concentrated waste.
The Competition was created in 2009 to support AC-NET’s mission to advance the development and commercialization of energy and water technologies. As such, it is an ideal forum for “seed” to “early-stage” companies and entrepreneurs to showcase their clean tech innovations to potential investors. In addition, participation in the Competition could open the door to potential pilot projects with the City of Anaheim and Anaheim Public Utilities.
